Extras

Description

Up for auction is this very sharp '48 Plymouth Coupe. It has the original flat head six engine with numbers that matches the title. It starts & runs very good. It has the original 3 on the tree transmission that shifts smooth. The clutch is very strong. The body is solid with undercarriage rock solid too. There is no rust anywhere. The trunk, floor pans and rockers are solid. The body mounts & perches are all solid. And you usually don't find them in this rock solid state.(see pics) The car, when driving is tight with no rattles even over the bumpiest of roads. The car has 4 new WWW radial tires. It has an older repaint that is still shiny and very presentable. It really stands out in the parking lot full of cars. The glass is good. The interior has been redone with period correct fabric that looks real nice. All gauges, lights, blinkers, brake lights, parking lights all work. The speedo needs a new cable. This is a very sharp car that is fun to cruise in. It is very dependable. I've been cruisin' alot with no issues. It really gets the 'thumbs up' & smiles when out and about.
