Description

1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu. This has been a fun build for my weekend driver. you will ask why the V6? I had it and the transmission in the barn for a few years and had it installed and running in 7 hours. I drive the car pretty much every weekend. It was a hull when I bought the car, with no interior and one very worn out inline 6 cylinder. The motor and trans was in a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass. The interior came out of a 2006 Chrysler Sebring. Power seat works along with tear drop interior light and glove box light. I did change out the steering column so that it would have tilt wheel. There is not a radio in the car but speakers and wires for rear 6x9s are still in the car.
Car has a clean title and was painted about 8 months ago. It stays in a garage so the outside elements don't harm it. All glass is good and all windows and vents operate as designed. New window felt, trunk seals, door seals have already been replaced. Brake lines and shoes all the way around are new. Tires are good. Car is pretty much road ready. I replaced 98% of the chrome and trim when I had it painted. I was going to change out the rims next, but decided to let the new owner pick their own out. Car is not perfect as I only wanted a daily driver and something to tinker around with. Car will drive 75 and 80 on high way with out any problems. It gets roughly 16 to 19 miles to the gallon.
There is the normal slack in the steering box, but a rack and pinion kit can be purchased online. Car is idea for a LS swap and would be really easy to do. I have a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado (Complete truck, but has bad frame) that can be purchased with the car for $750 (truck drives and runs perfect, with 127k miles on it) it has Vortec 4.8l with automatic trans. NO LEAKS OF ANY KIND. Truck can be bought separately for $1800.00 (without purchase fo car)
If you have any questions feel free to call John @ 601-941-2260 between 4pm and 10pm CST. (Please respect the hours)
I will be glad to help assist with shipping the car, but is completely at the buyers expense.
